Magnolia Only Ribbon Girl Challenge - Add a Die Cut

Hello!

I hope you are all well and enjoying your weekend!

There is a new challenge for the Magnolia Only Ribbon Girl Challenge starting today!

The theme this month is 'Add a Die Cut'

I have die cut my card using GoCreate dies. As the opening was a bit flimsy I added mini Grunge Board hinges. Which I rubbed Inka Gold over.

Magnolia's Tilda is coloured with distress pads and Sakura clear glitter pen has been added.

The Circle Die Cut is Noor Design.

The Ribbon, Seam Binding, Lace, Heart diamanté slider - The Ribbon Girls.

The Flowers, Pearl Stem, Pearl Rose Ribbon - The Ribbon Girl.

I die cut Magnolia's Tag and added a sentiment which I tucked behind my image.

The Number Four is a Magnolia stamp.

Super Sunday!.....

Hello!

A big welcome to my blog! I hope you are well and enjoying your weekend!

The sun is glorious here I hope you too are having a great Spring day!

I would like to share with you a card I made using one of Magnolia's new Once Upon a Time Collection 'Black Knight Edwin'. Plus the gorgeous new Magnolia DooHickey dies for that collection.

I have coloured Edwin in with distress ink pads. I have added Sakura clear star dust pen and a touch of Stickles Stardust.

The paper is Maja and I have Walnut Stain distressed the edges.

The DooHickey dies I have used are:-

Castle, Lovely Fence, Swirl, Flags, and Lace Coaster.

Sentiment - Magnolia

I added eyelets to the corners.

Wicked Wednesday!.......

A big welcome to my blog!

I hope you are all keeping well!

Today I would like to share with you a card I made using Magnolia's 'Tilda with Corkscrews' from the Once Upon a Time Collection.

I have used distress ink pads for colouring. I have added clear star dust sakura pen on Tilda's crown and star dust stickles around my card.

The butterflies are Magnolia stamps and these have been stickle glued.

The Corner and Swirl Die Cuts are Noor. I have die cut these using adhesive backing onto card and then covered them with glitter.

The lace, pearl bead string and flowers are The Ribbon Girl.

Paper Maja.

I have distressed the edges with Tim's Distressing tool and also run a sewing pokey tool around the edges.

Hope you are all well and your week has been going well.

I received my Magnolia Stamp Club Kit and had to play :)

I have coloured Magnolia's 'Butterfly Kit' from the Once Upon a Time Collection with distress ink pads. 

I have no idea what colours I should have used for these butterflies so a bit of artistic license has been applied lol!

I have then sprayed over the top with Iridescent Gold Glimmer mist. I have also added Inka Gold around my card.

The paper is Maja - Vintage Spring Basics

Sentiment - Tim Holtz

Lace, Bead String, Seam Binding, Heart - The Ribbon Girls

I added clear Crackle paint to the Magnolia Crowns inside my card.

The flowers are WOC and I have added stickle glue star dust.

Magnolia Only Ribbon Girls Challenge - Add Flowers....

Today is the start of a new Magnolia only challenge for the Ribbon Girls!

A Pirate's Birthday!........

Hello.

It has been some time since I updated my blog. It feels strange to be back here now and so good too!

The reason for my absence is my Mother in Law died in February. I always thought she would go on forever and so it has been hard for us all to deal with. When someone so close to you and part of the fabric of your life goes it makes it so hard to function. Life is not the life you have always had so you have to take one day at a time to start to live your life again.

I am now coming through the other end and starting to feel my way again. I know we will have good days and bad days but I keep close to myself that we were so lucky to have had such a good, strong and kind person in our lives who will be in our hearts forever.

A big thank you to everyone who enquired about my absence you are so very kind.

Anyway, I am so pleased to be back here with you all again and would like to share a card I made for my Grandson Luca's bestest friend in the world.

I have coloured Magnolia's Edwin with distress ink pads and then pin pricked the edge.

The Cloud Tag, Fence and Flag's are Magnolia's DooHickey dies with  an Anchor Charm from The Ribbon Girls.

The paper is Magnolia.

I attached the flags with wire and the letters are Quickutz.

Easter Time........

Hello!

I have made a card using Magnolia's 'Tilda with Big Tulips' from the With Love Collection 2013.

I have coloured Tilda with distress ink pads.

The die cut Corners and Borders are Noor Design.

The paper is Maja.

The Lace, Pink Flowers, Seam Binding, Ribbon and Bead string - The Ribbon Girls.

The tiny flowers Prima.

I have die cut Magnolia's Doo-Bee-Pops using Quickutz tiny flowers.

The card is made from a brown paper bag.

A Gift for Easter........

Hello!

I hope life is treating you well!

It is very cold here at the moment brrrrr... but I am encouraged by the longer daylight now and the birds seem to be singing a lot more so roll on Spring!

I have coloured Magnolia's 'Tilda with Big Tulip Pot' with distress ink pads.

The glitter glue is Star Dust.

Circle, Flower and Corner dies - Joy Craft.

I have die cut Magnolia's Doo-Bee-Pops paper using a small oval nestie to make mini Easter Eggs. Then added a gold bow.

The Leaf die, paper and sentiment are Magnolia.

From Tilda with Love......

Hello!

I hope you are keeping well and are having a good start to the week.

I have made a love tag using Magnolia's 'Bonny Tilda' from the With Love Collection.

I have tried something new by stamping Tilda out with Archival Grey before colouring her with distress ink pads.

The stickles on her wings and hair are Star Dust.

I have torn Magnolia's 'Rose Romance' paper and distressed this with walnut stain and stickle glued the edge. The DooHickey Wings have been sprayed with glimmer mist.

I cut two elements from the paper to make mini postcards.

The flower and leaf die are Magnolia Doohickeys. These I have then white washed with paint and then glimmer misted.

I have used Magnolia's Doo Bee Pop in Peony to make my heart. 

This I die cut using Magnolia's Heart Tag and then added paint, stickles and liquid pearls.

The Seam Binding, Gold Thread, Cheesecloth and Charm are from The Ribbon Girl
